Back in junior high and high school, I developed a liking for Lord of the Rings (and the Silmarillion). I really admire Tolkien's writing, and he even inspired me to invent at least three of my own codes (of which one I still occasionally use; another I used for my personal journals from 2000 until ~2006), consider linguistics, gain an interest in languages, etc. All of these were done back in freshman or sophomore year of high school.
